Stimați colegi,
Vă transmit invitația de a participa la webinarul organizat de Consiliul Europei în data de 2 septembrie 2021, cu rugămintea de a disemina aceste informații.
The fifth webinar of CEFR Webinar Series 2021 entitled "Engaging learners’ plurilingual and pluricultural competence: Online and face-to-face practice in secondary and tertiary language classrooms” will take place on 2 September 2021 from 16.00 until 18.30 CET.
This webinar presents applications of plurilingual education in language classrooms. It starts with an overview of results of classroom research conducted in language programs (English, French, Spanish) in Canada and Brazil, both face-to-face and online via synchronous (Zoom) and asynchronous (VoiceThread) platforms. Participants will engage in exploring plurilingual tasks and learn how to use CEFR plurilingual and pluricultural descriptors to design tasks in their own language classrooms.
The webinar will be moderated by Angelica Galante. Ms Galante is an Assistant Professor in Second Language Education and Director of the Plurilingual Lab at McGill University. Her research interests include plurilingual education, drama in language learning and teacher education. She has conducted research in English, French, Spanish and Arabic language classrooms both in Canada and Brazil investigating the effects of plurilingual pedagogy on students’ learning. Her work has been published in journals such as the International Journal of Multilingualism, Applied Linguistics, and System. She has recently received the Pat Clifford Award, a Canadian award that recognizes innovation and leadership in education.
There are 200 seats available for this webinar and the registration will be closed automatically when the seats are full. Please register here
